1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser or mobile device when you visit. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences — things like language, session or consent choices — for a period of time, so you don't have to set them again every time you come back.
2. The kinds of cookies we use
We classify cookies by their technical and legal purpose, in line with the GDPR and Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE):
- Technical and functional cookies (strictly necessary): Essential for the website to work properly, for secure browsing and for storing your consent decision. They need no prior consent and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics and statistics cookies: These let us count visitors and measure how our services are used — Google Analytics, for example. They are activated only if you give explicit consent.
- Marketing and personalisation cookies: These let us assess the impact of campaigns and show content aligned with your interests. They are activated only with your express authorisation.
3. Cookies and storage used on this site
Here is every storage mechanism and cookie this website uses:
| Name / Key | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type and storage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
cleartora-cookie-consent | Own (Cleartora) | Stores whether you accepted or rejected the cookie banner, and when that decision expires. | 1 year | Technical (necessary) · localStorage |
cleartora_consent_session_override | Own (Cleartora) | Makes sure a withdrawal of consent takes effect immediately during the session, even if permanent storage is restricted. | Session | Technical (necessary) · sessionStorage |
cleartora_session_start | Own (Cleartora) | Records when the session began, to estimate browsing time after consent. | Session | Statistics (optional) · sessionStorage |
cleartora_lead_journey | Own (Cleartora) | Records the pages visited during the session, from the moment statistics are accepted. | Session | Statistics (optional) · sessionStorage |
cleartora_last_cta | Own (Cleartora) | Identifies which section or contact button interested the visitor, once statistics are accepted. | Session | Statistics (optional) · sessionStorage |
cleartora_lead_source | Own (Cleartora) | Stores campaign parameters (UTMs under statistics; identifiers such as gclid or fbclid only with marketing consent). | Session | Statistics / Marketing (optional) · sessionStorage |
idioma | Own (Cleartora) | Remembers which language you are reading the site in, so we serve you that same language next time you arrive at the main address instead of working it out again. | 1 year | Technical (necessary) · Cookie |
cf_clearance | Cloudflare (Turnstile) | Remembers that you have already passed the contact form's security check, so you aren't asked again. | 30 minutes | Technical (necessary) · Cookie |
_ga | Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4) | Distinguishes one visitor from another so we can count how many different people visit the site. | 2 years | Statistics (optional) · Cookie |
_ga_21CVPZ7JJ6 | Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4) | Keeps session state, so we know whether a series of page views came from the same person in the same visit. | 2 years | Statistics (optional) · Cookie |
_clck | Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Clarity) | Identifies the browser between visits and stores its Clarity preferences. | 1 year | Statistics (optional) · Cookie |
_clsk | Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Clarity) | Joins the pages viewed during one visit into a single recording. | 1 day | Statistics (optional) · Cookie |
CLID | Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Clarity) | Records the first time Clarity sees this browser. Set on the clarity.ms domain. | 1 year | Statistics (optional) · Cookie |
MUID | Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited | Browser identifier that Microsoft shares across its own domains. | 13 months | Statistics (optional) · Cookie |
ANONCHK | Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited | Indicates whether the MUID identifier should be used for advertising. It is not used for advertising on this site. | 10 minutes | Statistics (optional) · Cookie |
SM | Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited | Synchronises the MUID identifier across Microsoft domains. | Session | Statistics (optional) · Cookie |
A note on external services: The current version of the website does not load external Google Analytics (_ga) or Meta Pixel (_fbp) scripts. The toggles in the preferences panel ensure that, should they be integrated in production, they will only activate with your prior explicit consent for each purpose.
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that whoever is writing is a person and not an automated program. The form could not exist without it — it would fill with spam — so it counts as technical and does not depend on your choices. It does not track you across websites.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures visits without setting any cookie or identifying your device. That is why it is not in the table and why it needs no consent.
Rows marked optional only exist if you accept the corresponding category. Until you do, Google and Microsoft are never even loaded into your browser.
4. How to change your choices or withdraw consent
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it. So:
- The floating "Cookie preferences" button is always there, pinned to the bottom-left corner of every page on Cleartora. Click it to turn statistics and marketing cookies on or off as you wish.
- You can also delete or block cookies directly from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
5. Contact
